Winter is Coming
In Eurobot 2026, teams will embark on a hazelnut heist!
For this year’s “Winter is Coming” theme, the main robot will be a mommy squirrel, with the SIMAs as her little squirrel helpers, as well as one special ninja squirrel daring enough to sneak into the granary!
Before winter sets in, the squirrel family must collect and store as many hazelnut crates as possible, but the competition won’t make it easy! Each team’s robots must grab as many hazelnuts as possible and hide them safely in their nests or in the shared pantries, outsmarting any rivals who try to steal their stash.
With the evil humans who stole all the hazelnuts distracted by a coffee break, the squirrels have only a few moments to prepare for the long, cold winter ahead. They’ll need to keep the pantries at just the right temperature and get mommy squirrel safely back to the nest before the humans return — while the little squirrels can’t resist snatching a few well-deserved hazelnuts, even if it delays them a bit!
